What happens if you defeat Barubary at the beginning of Breath of Fire II.

I was bored, and I wanted to see if anything would happen if you managed to defeat Barubary at the beginning of the game. As I suspected, the game proceeds on as if you had lost the battle normally, and nothing different happens. Codes were used for demonstration purposes.

@trelior the NES version will progress as normal. i'm unsure about the PS1 version, i would just as assume you get the ol' title screen to the head routine.

@locke103 I actually tried it with the GBA version, and winning kicked me back to the title screen. I assume that's what you mean by what happens in the NES version.

You know, the same thing happens in Golden Sun if you used cheats to beat Saturos and Menardi during the storm in Vale.

I beat their asses, yet Isaac and Garet were the ones laid out on the ground as they got away... I was half expecting a return to the title screen like when you win the opening battle of Final Fantasy II.
