HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY- a song for young children

I wrote this song to help my class (and myself) remember the significance of the groundhog seeing or not seeing his shadow on February 2nd. The accompanying lesson plan incorporates language arts, math, social studies, etc.

@LindsayCurran Yes, they typically make two exits, one near the edge of a wooded area. I learned a lot in the process of writing this song.

I tried to be as accurate as possible. From what I read, they typically make their homes on the edge of a wooded area and make sure they have two exits.
