Trip to Belgium , Bastogne & Foy ,30-4-2011 , Trail of Band of Brothers

We went to bastogne & foy to do some metaldetecting,
unfortunate the spot was searched empty ,maybe next time on another location.
but it was special to be there ...

on the way back we found a location that was not searched empty,allready did some good finds there ! ,next time we go back there and search more ,
so see you next time! .

Goed zoekken mensen,er ligt nog genoeg rond Bastenaken(bastongne)Foy/Malme­dy.

heb zelf een duits kruis gevonden en een Sturmgewehr 44 (StG44)+ een paar mills granaten,Heb gelijk de politie van malmedy opgezocht.die heeft de grantaten weg gehaald.De kruis en de StG 44 ligt nu lekker thuis... Gewoon zoekken en niet te snel opgeven.

ik zoek met de euroace, rond bastogne is zo goed als leeg gezocht :-(

wel indrukwekkende plek om te zijn ,ik vond 1 leeg hulsje dat was alles ,gaan nog keer terug ooit.

betere plekken zijn er wel ,waar wel wat ligt nog

But it is true that most people go to bastonge/foy...because that is the most famous place to look.but the war was in the entire ardennes,take a look near stavalot and coo,more places like glieze+trois ponts.but if you live in holland,go near nijmegen,and son en breugel.i also found shells near the dropzone at the Ginkelse heide.

Eeh man ik ben in foy geweest afgelopen week. Ben toch ff gaan kijken met me detector, heb 5 volle patronen gevonden! eerst 2 bij elkaar daarna 3 bij elkaar.

PS heb vrijdag vrij dus zaterdag kunnen we vroeger op pad!

Het wordt hopelijk weer een mooie dag en we gaan ook de Panther bekijken.
