Okay I'd like to say that this video has taken me over a year to complete. It is a true labor of blood sweat and tears. It was the first of many gifts to my dear friend Sunsetdawn20 and her antihero the glorious Patrick McHeath combined with the universe of my long standing Phantom of the Opera novel "Turning from True Beauty"
PLOT
Erik, known as the Phantom, pieces together a life beneath the Paris Opera House with his friend and confidante Olivia, who longs to be his lover. However with the entrance of the beautiful Christine Daae into their private world, Olivia takes to the surface. She finds a passionate lover in Patrick and the two begin their affair as Erik struggles to win Christine by composing his opera "Don Juan Triumphant" for her. The incessant work puts a strain between Olivia and Erik but she cannot abandon him. Finally at the Opera's masquerade when Erik reveals himself to all Olivia leaves, knowing that this is spiraling out of control. Patrick finds Erik's home and confronts him. After an argument and brief separation from Erik Olivia attends "Don Juan's" premiere with Patrick, forcing herself to watch the passion between Erik and Christine. But as the opera climaxes Christine exposes Erik's deformed face to all of Paris. In a fit of rage he brings down the great chandelier and captures Christine. Olivia uses the panic to leave her lover and race down to meet them, hoping to convince Erik to let Christine go. The two women desperately try to calm his rage as their lovers, accompanied by the police and a mob, bear down upon them. Olivia tells Erik that no matter what happens she will stay by his side. The mob breaks into their home, led by Patrick. Erik peacefully tells his rival to get the women to safety and leave him. Olivia is dragged away screaming. Outside she watches the place, and her love, burn.
