It turns out the scoundrel is Representative Henry Waxman . He has been secretly "trading" $1. / year leases for donations to his campaign. Waxman is clever, but deserves JAIL-TIME.

I wonder who has interest in this property I will bet we know them and live near this property. I also wonder how many of them have lost a veteran that has served or needs medical attention. Wow now that is what you call politics. I bet the fallen heros would turn in there graves.

It just never stops.
Our country is what it is because of all who stood up and fought for our freedom. I'm saddened to hear this. This goes right along with the issue of the cross in the Mojave Desert Cross (the site of the memorial giving honor to the fallen soldiers erected in 1934) all based on the premise that someone (who has never been there) might go one day and is offended it's there and has filed suit against it (pending court case). This is all so sad indeed! :-(
