@merlinab88 Being publicly funded, the BBC actually have very little power of their own, hence their need to publicly apologise to anyone they offend in the slightest. Also, I personally believe they don't intentionally spread any misinformation or false information, and if they do, they're at least good enough at it not to get caught.
