Ron Paul may be saying he wants to bring our troops home, and I think his message is brilliant, but you need to realise Barack Obama also wanted to end the war. What happened? They're still over there. The elite control the government, and who gets elected. Once they elect someone, no matter what their campaign message was, they get told their orders. If the president does not follow these, well...look what happened to Kennedy.

Its not the government we need to worry about. Its the elite.

@taregass The USA supports free and open elections, freedom of speech, assembly and press, a Parliament with multiple parties, and a Constitution. Per Transparency International the Iraqi elections were free and open...and the Afgan elections were close to free and open.(both countries are historically very corrupt)
