One of the all time great albums. A real life changer, and still relevant as ever.
Pity the poor souls who think Dexys are only 'Come on Eileen' .

This is my favorite song by this band.
Someone tell all those ppl 'Come On Eileen' isn't the only song they ever played nor is it even their best.

@LilywhiteMcLenin I don't understand this comment, Kevin Rowland was born in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands and continued to live in the Midlands for the duration of his 80's commercial success.

My Auntie Phyllis, who passed away at age 80 in June, gave me a copy of this album for my 14th birthday. I loved it instantly. It's so...genuine. 'Burn It Down', 'Tell Me When My Light Turns Green', 'Geno', 'Thankfully Not living in Yorkshire...'--all great memorable tracks. Hardly anyone had even heard of DMR in Newfoundland at the time, so I felt like I was in on some super-cool trans-Atlantic secret. One question: Who's sampled between The Pistols and The Specials in the intro?

@LilywhiteMcLenin thanks for that comment. i never really listened to the words before now. Thats a real education, thanks again

Incredible blast with a powerful message for those who loved to see the Irish as 'thick'
