@phoney98 No. Deer are, for the most part very afraid of humans and they certainly can not bite very hard since they do not have upper teeth in front, only lower teeth just like cattle.

This cracks me up so much. In Nara I saw an old lady chase a bunch of deer away from her souvenir shop. She held up her arms and yelled and smacked them with her broom.
