Juan Tulisan

A Macromedia Flash student project at the Academy of Art College (now University). Originally conceived as a narrative told in 12 chapters of a band of misfits fighting during the Philippine Revolution of 1896. It is an alternate universe story, characters are all fictional but placed alongside actual history. I only finished 4 chapters but I will probably rewrite this for video. The video you see here is converted from Flash so don't mind the "back" buttons. Story, characters, and flash animation by Raymond Virata. Music by Calpomatt. 2001

Tunganga, thank you for taking interest in this story. I was planning an update years ago, but work got in the way.

Possible endings:

1) They get captured by the Spaniards and are sentenced to death.

2) The aswang sets his sights on the girl and they turn on each other.

3) The aswang still lives on today and forms a new group of outcasts.

4) I'm holding this last one to my chest, it's going to anger some historians. It's like Elvis is still alive.
