Well I read somewhere that there is a company operating a few of them for sightseeing and stuff but they are somewhat small.. I'd personally rather pay for a cabin on an air ship and travel two, three or four days in comfort than have to be packed in a plane elbow-to-elbow..

@Agramer11 An excellent reason to bring these ships of the sky back into OUR universe. Perhaps they can use helium and a combination of some other floating gas and technology so that Hindenburg doesn't happen again.

It always bothered me how in the last episode of season one during the panoramic of the city there were no zeppelins whereas here you see a few of them here. Hmmm.

@dogpup4 Well yes and no. They're basically just a tool to show that this universe is different, as we don't have them here really due to the Hindenburg.

@dogpup4 naaaaa. it makes sense the Hindenburg probably did not blow up 'over there' so they kept on using them and improving them. I would assume they are a very efficient means of travel. when we run out of fossil fuels I can imagine these coming back

I love the fact that they have the Grand Hotel there :) And I loved the reaction of my grandmother when I showed here this episode of Fringe with zeppelins, she asked did they start flying them again cause I remember her telling me how she travelled with her family to Rio de Janeiro on board the Graf Zeppelin in 1933 :)
