@MadameDuvae Hi, Madame! I am the writer and vocalist and your comments are right on the money. At the time of this recording I had not sung in my classical voice for 30 years, so my voice was definitely not in shape. My son created a new accompaniment for me in a lower key, so when I rerecord the song, it should be more comfortable for my mezzo voice. This is just lovely. Positively lovely. She has a beautiful voice, and I LOVE the lyrics and video. The only thing I don't like is the fact that she has to strain to reach some of those high notes. Most of the notes she hits sound pure and have good tone, but there are several that are simply too high for her voice. LOVE it overall all, though! Very moving.

Thanks for commenting, Tracy. I am actually working on a new recording of this song. We've upgraded Nathan's studio since this was recorded in 2006, so he composed a new soundtrack for me with his new instrument library. Same basic arrangements but with much better instrument voicing and realism. I gotta get my voice in shape again!
