The award-winning Bournemouth Air Festival 18th -- 21st August 2011

Incredible air displays, attractions and fantastic evening entertainment -- don't miss the the UK's biggest free aviation festival this summer.

The 2011 award-winning Bournemouth Air Festival has been officially launched! With exciting announcements from the Royal Navy, RAF and a host of great aircraft taking to the skies of the UKs leading resort, the impressive line-up for the fourth festival is looking superb. The world famous Red Arrows will be displaying Friday, Saturday and Sunday and also confirmed will be two fantastic evening dusk displays, taking place Thursday 18th and Friday 19th August. With plans still underway for more display teams and planes, don't forget to check back for updates and more details!

Jon Weaver, Air Festival Director said: "We're delighted to be welcoming back crowd favourites, particularly the Red Arrows -- we're really fortunate to have them again for three displays when we know the impact of international military operations. The Air Festival team are also working on some new aircraft and display teams, and hope to make announcements soon. We have really taken on board what we learnt last year, the importance of challenging communications, trading, social media and of course the success of the Thursday evening display. We are busy planning for every eventuality...we're just hoping for better weather!"
