In this tutorial, I show how to create variables, and various things you can accomplish with variables.


Sorry for the length of this video, I just didn't really feel like splitting it into two videos.

  • what if ı want to give value a name. like 5=hello instead of hello=5 and of course when i type the 5 it will bring hello...is it possible??

  • @heee2 No, it isn't. You aren't allowed to have numbers as variables, because numbers are numbers. Because if you did that, you would never be able to use the number 5 in a program.

  • For some reason when i do the variable it dosent work. My code is x = input("type a number")

    print 1 + x

  • @ISJHman44 Hmm...did you forget to put parentheses for the print statement around the 1 + x?

  • @DaKrazyJak actually you can have numbers in variables, but they must have a letter at the beginning.
