Jaxon Buerge couldn't feed himself, had no self help skills, couldn't play, screamed and cried, had no language and was overall miserable as a child. The Buerges found out Jaxon had autism and couldn't get any help. They found the Center for Autism at Cleveland Clinic. They made a life saving decision to enroll Jaxon here and moved from Missouri to Ohio. The center uses a science based program called applied behavioral analysis ABA. ABA uses an intensive one on one interaction using a system of rewards and positive reinforcement between teacher and child. The program is 8 hours a day 5 days a week of highly structured work for two years. The Center for Autism's quality and level of care is above and beyond what any other school or program for autism can offer.
