YOYO OPEN 2008 - Hiraku Fujii

On August 8th and 9th, 2008, The International Yo-Yo Open and New York State Yo-Yo Contest showcased the world's BEST yo-yo players in a showdown for cash, prizes, and bragging rights.

Hiraku Fujii, a performer of the highest caliber, stole the 2008 X-Division with a 2A routine so beautiful it made emcee Pat Cuartero cry. Hiraku is indisputably one of the best 2A players in the world, having taken home not only the IYYO 2008 X-Division title but also the Japan National title for 2A the same year. His stage presence is undeniable, and his performance was probably as close to perfect as a 2A player has ever given. The time has come to see if he can top that at IYYO 2009.

Expect to see MORE of this type of yo-yo action in the largest yo-yo event in history THIS year on August 8, 2009 at the South Street Seaport Pier 17, New York city!
