  • Colorism is the internalization of white supremacy...If u're light or even better WHITE u're deemed smarter, prettier and less threatening...The worst offenders of the colorism game is blackmen..The brotha in this clip didn't know why he only find lightskin girls attractive...Isn't that part of the problem we don't know where all this comes from...Slavery has never left us, it just comes in a different form...

  • That's definitely not the same as what black people (women in particular) go through, tho............. o.O You do know that colorism/shadism stems from slavery (and it evolved cause we still go through these issues today), right?? So you can't compare white people praising tan skin and bashing light skin to black people and our color issues.......... Darker skinned whites?? Whoa. Okay.

  • WHERE CAN I WATCH THIS DOCUMENTARY?! I would really love to see this documentary but I have tried to look for it online but can't find it anywhere. If it is premiering at any theater anywhere I am willing to watch it at a theater as well.

  • Its great and refreshing you feel this way and I hope that continues. but many darkskin women feel inferior to light skinned women because of how certain black men in particular seem to prefer them.then you have the white society and media who seem to accept brown but once your skin tone is dark-its seen as not accepted.

  • The fact is colourism issues with racism WILL always be there..not just within the black community but the Asian industry, although whites dont have this problem they view fair hair such as blonde as more beautiful, more appealing then say brown or raven hair.

Beyonce and Rihanna are both lightskinned, had they had dark skin they probaly wouldnt be where they are today ..Light skin is represents beauty while white represents status and to be dark is seen to represent ugly..its life.sad but true.

  • This is so sad. I'm a black woman myself and I feel like we're all beautiful no matter if we're the lightest shade or the darkest. I've had problems as well. Not so much with the shade of my skin but the texture of my hair. I just wish I could tell all these women that they are beautiful. I really do and I feel like I'm beautiful like them as well despite the shades of our skin. We're all beautiful.

  • Absolutely BRILLIANT and I was amused!XD .Ya gotta be careful with people like blacktemple .They need plenty of kindness and understanding from the world. You mustn't be too truthful about the ways of grown-folks, as it is not for their tender ears.People like blacktemple are hurting and they'll feel unloved if you don't entertain their delusions. You see,in their child like world, only black people suffer.I'm sponsoring a "be gentle to black people" day on youtube,Will you help me?

  • Not amused. *continues with life

  • *insert upbeat touching music* The non-relevant youtube commenting guy smirks and extends his hand out to make peace with the corrector of non-relevant commenting people. As she extends her hand to shake his, she lets a quiet fart slip out, that sounded similiar to a duck quacking. They both laugh for several seconds. Once the laughing stops, they both go on about there way never talking about the fart incident again.
