1964 Cedar Point Miscellaneous Rides and Atmosphere 8mm Film

8mm family vacation film clips 1964 by my Grandpa. Respect his copyright of the film. Cedar Point Amusement Park. 8mm family film transferred to MiniDV digital tape. Features the 90 ft high Sky Wheel Double Ferris Wheel (it's called the Giant Sky Wheel in a 1967 brochure), Scrambler, Rotor Facade. Glimpse of the Fun House facade in the background. Super Satellite Jet on the Midway. Sky Ride buckets to the station at the back of the Main Midway, The Scamper Wild Mouse-type of ride in the background and the Octopus where the Matterhorn and part of the Corkscrew are today. The Main Midway flower beds, Coliseum facade in the background. Glimpse of the Miniature Golf Course where Kiddie Kingdom is today. (the Golf sign is in the background behind the Fountain). The Fountain shot water up in intervals. A glimpse of the Beach. The CP & LE Rail Road station is in the distance behind the shot of the Cadillac Cars. It was closer to the front than it is today which would be near where the Good Time Theatre and Wildcat roller coaster. A brief shot of a Merry-Go-Round, the Guessing Game. Notice the ticket booths even in front of the Sky Ride station. And a glimpse at the end of an unknown ride that resembles a Flight to Mars Wildcat type of ride with a painted Funhouse facade. Most likely was a temporary leased ride. Filmed in 1964. No sound on the film.
