unlike the shows of the past, Madea does present positive messages even if certain parts could be labeled stereotypical.
For instance, the encouragement of youth to go to school and be anything that they want to be (in Family Reunion and Madea goes to jail)... the empowerment of women and domestic abuse... tackles important subjects to the community like... What's done in the dark discussed our various health issues like diabetes...
