ohhh no! not new fashion! all music is the same, all music expresses something and has a sound, all music has its own origins, all music has its own fans and followings. some people are just too stubborn and stupid to see that "emo" music is no different from rock, blues, pop, or anything else. its just another sound out there. people just have a different view on it, when they dont realize that the music they listen to was probably considered crap at some time.

BULL SHIT. that's all this story is. Emo isn't sweeping the county. MCR isn't emo, lots of people over 25 know what emo is, the sound isn't "intense" it is just rock. Emos have just black hair and scene kids let a rainbow jizz on their hair in a desperate attempt to be artsy. Fox new is full of old conservatives who are unwilling to see new subcultures and changing times, so they villainies everything that has cone put in the past 20 years.

But srsly, Emo's haven't really done anything.. I admit, It can be very annoying on the internet when those pose-pics show up, but it's not just emo's doing it... I don't like models (really skinny ones) But if I'd see a skinny girl on the street, I wouldn't beat her up... If she wants to be skinny, she wants to be skinny... (don't give me comments about eatingdisorders now...)

I hate how the word emo has basically you could say "a mind of its own" no one has the same meaning for the word and you either look at it as depressed people who need help or thos freaks who sit in the corner and wear black and draw all day. It really makes me mad that no two people can even say the same meaning of the word.

@Blade025 If you knew ANYTHING about sub cultures you'd know that this all stemmed from punks back in the 80s. First it was hardcore real ass punks who actually went to shows and rebelled and followed the life style. Then metal which is the closest thing to punks, just a little more hardcore music and the apparel is slightly different. Everything after that was just a bunch of pussy posers who are to afraid to go to real shows and to afraid to live the actual life style.
