Bulldogs are VERY smart, but also VERY stubborn! And Roxy is no exception. In this video she is about 14 weeks old, which is kinda like the "terrible twos" for children. Watch how she gives me grief after every command. And twice she purposely turns away and ignores me completely. VERY funny! It's tough to train them, but if you start young and work hard you will be rewarded with great results. They are SO smart!

  • Thank you everyone. It was a horrible experience to lose her, so suddenly. We miss her terribly, but it does get a little bit easier each day. She will always be our "good girl Roxy". Luva Roxy.

  • Goodbye Roxy. On April 20th, 2011 we were forced to let our beloved girl go. Showing signs of illness on April 1st she was diagnosed with end stage liver failure. After a short battle we were forced to let her go rather than continue her discomfort. It was the hardest decision we have ever made. She would have been two years old on April 25th. We will love you forever, Roxy. Mommy and Daddy. "Such a good girl, Luva Roxy!"

  • Ok i just got a bulldog thats 4 months old how do i house break him please help ...

  • Hi@latinoguy562

Congrats on your new bullie...you will love him. I am no expert, but there are a few comments on training/housebreaking posted to this video. That's about all I can offer, other than be kind but very firm and consistent. Good luck.

  • Just found this video, she's super cute and I'm so sad to hear you lost her!

  • What a great video! She was one smart bulldog. I am so very sorry for your loss. I know losing a pet is just as traumatic as losing any member of the family. My bulldog is like my baby. I wish I could teach my bully to do those things. Did you take her to obedience training or just teach her yourself? So far all my bully will do is sit when i tell her to sit. So she's got the SIT part down...and that's it. And if she doesn't want to come when I call her, she sits there. Any advice?

  • All my bully will do is sleep

  • never feed dogs grapes it leads to kidney failure

  • lol lol lol lol what a lol bulldog lol

  • Reminds me of training our sweet little Bella Angel. She's 3 now and still decides not to listen some days lol

  • thats one cute dog.. hahaha my dog is named "Roxie" lol she passed away about a year ago.. nice training

  • @DavDRox I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm fostering a bully right now and I'm totally in awe of Roxy's "dramatic play dead!" lol My little guy's quite stubborn. lol I say "down" and he looks at me like I'm an ass! lol He's not too impressed. lol

  • you doosh, its AWESOME to take the time and give your dog the mental stimulation obtained when focusing like this

  • Poor Roxie. Back off. How many tricks does she need to do? Fuck.
