Metroid Fusion 100% Part 1 - X are Nasty Little Buggers

Thus the new game begins... this time I choose, Metroid Fusion! It has been a fair while since I covered a Metroid game on my channel, so I may as well go with this one... It has been a good 3-4 years since I have played Metroid Fusion, so I will by no means be going for the "Under 2 hours with 100% items" completion, but instead, go for just 100% items. This games provides FAR less spare time for getting the "best ending" than Super Metroid did, so I simply do not have the game memorized much at all. In fact I have a map sitting on my second monitor the whole time I am playing this in this playthrough! For those who DO want to get the under 2 hours completion though, I will point out the various mistakes I make during the playthrough so you can alter those mistakes accordingly.

This first video does not really cover all that much... It basically goes through the especially long-winded intro for the game. Speaking of long-winded... a lot of this game's recorded length is the talking scenes. Metroid Fusion is different from the other Metroid games in that there is a lot of actual talking going on... All these cut-scenes take up a good chunk of time, but thankfully, you can listen to them at your own rate without it ticking up the play-time counter at the end of the game.

The next video will have us getting more into the actual action... but until then...

I gotta admit, I like that you're returning the Metroid. By the way, how are you recording this? Are you using a Gamecube with the Gameboy Player and your TV Tuner? An emulator? Etc?

I am using an emulator for this one. I lack anything that lets me play GBA games via console, and I wanted to see if I could get ridiculously high quality for the video... XD

Playing with an actual gamepad on a bigger, stable screen definitely makes this game a lot easier... =n.n=;

@EvilMariobot I knew they were in it....but i'm not sure if they were called space pirates. I mean come on....space pirates? Don't get me started on the ben ten aliens they have in prime 3.... prime 1 and 2 were pretty good....I just wasn't a big fan of "some" of the music.

@ChalktheChase The power suit in fact does contain some organic components and a sophisticated interfacing mechanism, her zero suit, which links her directly to the suit thus it cannot simply be removed by force without harming her physically. That's what the spots on her back on Brawl are when you use Zero Suit Samus.

Or at least that's what it seems like to me because the X cannot infect inorganic things, it has to be organic.

This is so far my favorite metroid....well atleast it lived up to super metroid.....which was amazing. But sadly....the series feels like it's dying. Nintendo step up your game.I think prime had the gameplay down but the story was just a little too.....american. Too many generic space themes....space pirates? .....come on. I just finished other m....It got a lot of mixed reviews...I think the pros out weigh the cons.
