its pretty awesome as you can see. i got the project box aswell as the switches at the shack. inside are 5 9v batteries all hooked up to the toggle switch. this arms it. the momentary push button sends 36v to the steel wool which then burns. neat stuff. but its broken now so im pretty upset. it cost me about $20 to make and took me 4hr 37min of my saturday. it was so worth it though.

  • i'm just wondering but couldn't you do this with a large capacitor and a couple of AA batteries and maybe some resistors depending on the cap? what would it take?
