We were all fired up for this one as the back stage party was in full flow. As you can see by Richard's 'animated' performance, he'd enjoyed the refreshments as much as anyone! Run DMC, I seem to remember, were leading from the front at the party in the green room and we were happy to follow. Bit of a shock when we eventually had to get up on stage, but what the heck... turned out alright.
As a sad footnote, at this time (1987-1988) we were using the awesome Light Of The World bass player, Paul 'Tubbs' Williams for some recording and t.v. shows. Sadly, Tubbs passed away last year. We all miss his giant laugh and his incredible talent.
