This is what happens to your voice when you inhale sulfur hexafluoride. It's basically the opposite to inhaling helium. Don't worry this is perfectly safe.

  • nope, that's a first!

  • basically, it's the equivalent of not breathing for whatever amount of time you have it in your lungs.  That's why it's important to exhale and then breathe very deeply after inhaling SF6.
