@KenKY4 The point wasn't to sing it the way Vera Lynn does. The point was to sing it the way Julie does. Julie did sing it her way, and it's gorgeous in its own right.

As much as she is a superb singer, she does not sing it as well as the original singer, Vera Lynn.
