The White Knight's poem. One of my favourite parts in the movie to be honest.
This bit also introduces the wasp in the wig, a character from Lewis Carroll's "lost chapter".

So have fun.

  • If I could get Ian Holm to read me all my favorite poems, I would never have problems sleeping. And I mean that in the most positive way.

  • @Wyrmwould It's better then just making up a scene that a lot of movie adaptations of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass do.

  • @Spyritus Yes, thank you for taking the time to upload this gem. I fully intend to own this on dvd some day. It's films like this one that inspired my own version. I love Wonderland. So much beauty :)

  • I never realised it was Ian Holm playing the White Knight- I was at primary school when I first saw this i.e. more than ten years ago, so LOTR hadn't even come out. I was also SHOCKED to discover the Gnat (in Part 2), was played

    by Steve Coogan- he's unrecognisable.

  • I'm a huge fan of the Alice books and have mixed feelings regarding the Wasp In A Wig episode. My feelings are as follows: I'm glad it was recovered, but it should never be included in any printing of Through the Looking Glass (except perhaps in an appendix) or in any production based upon it.

  • this is absolutly like the first alice only different

  • thumbs up if your name is alice

  • BILBOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hmmm....They added in that Yellow Jacket? Wasp? character. Who's the actor who plays him, and what else is he in? He kinda looks familiar...

  • Aww, I liked how he did the white knight's character. It worked out nicely.

  • the tale was sad
