Close view as team races by in Sled Dog Derby 80th World Championship. Then another team goes racing past in the opposite direction!   • nice video, though i think due to the weather, its better to use Malamutes,Samoyeds, or Huskeys to race because their hair is much longer :)

  • @Shuketon12 Good thought, but in fact I asked mushers that same question. The response was, It is actually too warm in New England for those longer-haired dogs to race well, which is why around New Hampshire they typically race greyhound/Huskey crosses and the like. The hardier breeds do better in Canada and Alaska-- down in NH they get too hot!
