Should have shown us the front of the truck. The video isn't complete without the bloooood! Car-B-Que, hot off the grille! What is really entertaining is when a deer gets wedged under a truck and leaves a trail of red for about a mile down the highway!

Of all the signs I have neglected about deer..... I claimed my first one under a trailer I was pulling in northern Texas. I felt the trailer jump hard. Pulled over with hazards on and checked tires. All were ok thank goodness. though the lady driving behind me wasn't so lucky. She tried to straddle over it and had a blowout from one of the antlers puncturing her tire. And then there was blood spatter to clean off the trailer ::YUCK::

@Groceryhauler07 i could bet my boots on a killed deer when it's hit by an 18,000 pounds of death machine. i used to say when i hitting something that don't do much damage to my vehicle some polish and it's good as new again. The air conditioning condenser is expensive to repair on a truck?. It was on my truck and i drive a chevrolet 2500 with a fifth wheel and a chaparall trailer attached.
clean your damn windsheild

@becky334 Sorry Becky, the deer was killed upon impact. As for the truck it had some minor cosmetic damage to the front end and the air conditioning condenser was damaged. Other than that it was fine!

@threatcom
The person driving the truck had been driving a semi for a grand total of six days. Sometimes people need time and experience to learn to react in the exact proper way. And actually you're wrong about moving to the right. Big trucks don't respond well to abrupt maneuvers. Proper procedure would have been to maintain his lane in a straight line, apply his brakes as much as safely possible and hit the deer. You just don't swerve in an 80,000 lb. semi.

Didn't you hit a dear about a year ago?

Yeah I did. It's a fairly common occurrence, especially here in the midwest. The video of that one is on here somewhere too. :)
