Sorry, again without the actual title but the experts will for sure recognize the tune and above that I might say I'm really surprised how they managed to let it sound that good compared with the studio-version. One of my almost favs (sounds stupid without title). I'll fetch the old vinyl again to sort that out asap, have fun till then, the music is very good imo.

  • This song is called " Lust for Life" the 2nd track from the CD 'NYC'. A fantastic band. Even after Michael Brecker, Eddie Gomez, Don Grolnick, and Mike Stern are gone, founder Mike Mainieri finds a group of lesser known but deservedly talented musicians to kick as*!.

    (btw Bendik is fabulous)

  • @Carsonsaxplayer Thanks Carson, I've changed the title, just a bit clumsy of me not to have been done before but it also triggers viewers and specialists like you to interact. One of my finest bands for ever and to be honest, when I bought this CD that time I'd never noticed the change of saxplayer which could be an advantage for Bendik, anyway, I really loved that period just as much as with Brecker.

  • so sensible !! i love the sax player !! bendik !!

  • Very sensible tune and play, this tune was already an alltime favorit for me, this live version is almost perfect, Grtz, Aart

  • i grew up listening to this tape

  • Yep, Bendik is fabulous : )) I litteraly grew up with Bendik, and his family in Norway : )) He is sooooooo cool, because he is just the same person I knew when I was just a little kid (he`s 8 years older than me), he used 2 play the sax in his room when we were visiting the family Hofseth (my parents and his were best friends, we lived about 500 meters apart), I always was facinated by his sax-playing : )) Little did I (or we) know : ))

  • DAM I love this band.

  • very nice ! です.
