  • That Mr Spooner doesn't have one nice attribute to him. He's completely unnecessary! Mr Lucas definetely had his faults but he was generally a sweet, funny and caring person.

  • Myself, I preferred Mr. Lucas to Mr. Spooner. I loved Mr. Lucas and Mr. Humphries' friendship.

  • its just lovely how the pawn brokers and the bookies of jolly old England do not take a percentage of the transaction.

    what a charming country!

  • I love Mr. Humphrey’s many entrances

  • @MrFlibbits Check out (Candy Davis) videos online, if you haven't already. :)

  • @TheWesx The wall between the main caf and exec dining room was knocked down in an earlier episode. Now the wall is back in place.

  • There was an earlier episode in which Mr. Rumbold denieds Miss Belfridge a rise. I must say, and I am unanimous in this, Miss Belfridge gets a rise from me whenever she appears on the screen.

  • Whenever someone else arrives in a crazy costume that looks like it can't be beat (Peacock in his shorts in this episode), Mr. Humphries beats them.

  • @psychologie10 Spooner is a characterization of a smart alec junior, a prop. He's like a "junior" machine that spits out the necessary lines. Mr. Lucas was a character, a person who was a junior and a smart alec. But those were only attributes of a person, of Mr. Lucas. That's the difference - character vs. characterization.

  • they're off...........
