"Where the Hell is Socks?" Surf Safari on Second Life

Ok, we'll see who clicks on the "more info" tab here. This is a "response" video to the popular "Where the Hell is Matt?" I admire what he's done, and is going to be doing again apparently. But seeing as I'm not going to travel the world any time soon, I did it virtually. A Second Life surfing safari.

"CameraFur" and me did this over the course of a few nights in May 2008. We were on the same wireless router, so I'm amazed the footage looked as good as it did using the equipment we have. We hit a lot of the major surf destinations in SL, but I know I left a few out. CameraFur is the fox you see at the "Neart" vid. And before someone asks, I'm on the wave in the background.

We're working on a way to get higher quality video capture from SL, I'm thinking new computer with better video graphics, but we'll see how that goes. If that happens, a reshoot may be in order. The sequel is already being planned.

Xuriel I should have had the flag up too, but it's listed as a "surf beach" even though you can't rez your board there. That was a long paddle, let me tell you.
