HL2DM | Movement Tutorial

Based on different tutorials I had seen, and some other stuff I know and hadn't seen explained in any other videos, I decided to make a complete tutorial regarding hl2dm movement (bhop, strafejump, wallstrafing, and so on)

Some stuff might seem redundant for some, but it isn't for others and I didn't want to miss anything, so I included it.

Edit: Since Valve ported the game to the OB engine, it's not possible anymore to sprint as soon as you release the crouch key, now there is a delay between this and it's not possible anymore to repeat bhops with the same fluency as shown on this video.

@martten8791 you mean between every bhop? it's not possible anymore, since valve ported the game to the OB engine, now there is a delay between the time you stand up and when you can start using sprint again...

hey, how do you do that curve at 2:22. Whenever I try to bhop and turn a corner like that I have to stop for a second and restart the bhop. thx

@gfyrdr yup, that sucks, you can't do that "curve" anymore since the OB update. That's how old hl2dm movement was, now you have to stop between each series of bhops...

Awesome tutorial man!!! I have one question...I noticed that there are few players that jumps so high and it's difficult to kill them.How can I jump like them? =D

Do you have any video of an example? maybe you are playing on a server with altered gravity? no idea :/

Hmm Bhop is still possible after the update but it's much less effective. CS:S seems less effected by the conversion since there are still tons of bhop servers :)
