@nick21sammy there's really a German a plane which look like buffalo(or is it a buffalo i'm not to sure bout that) in ww2 i think they either bought it it or the company made a model for them like the c-47(the comapny of the c-47made different models to Russia and Japan)

@norb1937 True enough. It also handled like a bus with wings. It's interesting to compare the Sturmovik with fighters that went for manouverability over defence. The Japanese Zeros had *cough* zero armour and they flew like swallows on crack.

I'm told the sturmovik was heavily armored. Like a flying tank. It could take many h its and keep on fighting and flying.

yes but this obviously wasnt the winter war. the il-2s are the late version and LA-5s werent around at that time :)

But the Finnish handed a few aircraft (mainly Buffaloes) to the Luftwaffe during the Winter War.

@FighterGuDude3214 Dont insult my aircraft identity knowlede :D. yes the colours are correct for the Finnish airforce, but the insignia is clearly Luftwaffe. the Finnish Airforce had Blue Swastikas on white circular backgrounds :D
