@skipstah70 Not making eye contact is also actually something that is extremely common in people who are shy. Not sure why you would automatically assume that means he's arrogant.
-
@skipstah70 Making constant eye contact during conversation is not the norm in Russia. It's just a cultural difference. Ovie does the same thing all the time.
-
@8Eriquo8 did you even listen? he said he is an amazing player and could be the best in the nhl if he gave it his all
that is basically saying "he is better then me"

Another Kovalev... they try to play his as media shy and quiet, but it's so blatantly obvious that the guy is just arrogant. Look at his any of his interviews in Russian, the guy never even makes eye contact with the reporters.

Semin is the best player in the league WHEN he plays like he can.

@kewlnsimpguy Only scored 28 last season.

@maplestoryroad So a 40 goal scorer is a 3.5 m level? LOL fail

@KingofFallout He's trashing his work ethic...he's pointing out the truth. Contrary to what Crosby's fanboys (not knocking Crosby, just his fanboys) say, Ovechkin is no choker. He carries the Caps in the playoffs. Injuries to Mike Green, inconsistent goaltending, and Backstrom struggling (mostly because he's young IMO) have contributed to their failures. But Semin's laziness hurts the most, and his salary is taking away from the Caps' success more than his meagre effort is contributing.

Wait is he dissing him i cant tell?
It's true, and McPhee dishing out 6.5m+ a year at him isn't going to make him change. There's so much better talent in the NHL that comes out cheaper than Semin. If McPhee expects him to step up his game, he has to stop dishing out money for Semin's potential, but rather Semin's effort. His effort right now barely puts him at a $3.5m contract.
