What train car were you in?
-
Just to clear things up...
The tracks and infrastructure is owned by NJ Transit for the entire length of the line. All trains are run by NJT crews and dispatched by NJT dispatchers. Metro-North owns and maintains the station facilities in Pearl River, Nanuet and Spring Valley.

I mean vidoe taping on the train.
-
But we may go to Port Jervis later on this year. But we will take Secaucus Junction. And can you do the same thing here but on the Main/Bergen Lines.
-
I would love to go on the Pascask Valley Line.
-
cool i live right near the Nanuet train station and i see those all the time
-
being a EL/CONRAIL/NJT fan I respectfully say you suck, because it has been one of my all-time dreams to ride on those old ex-EL lines but this is a outstanding video 5/5. AWESOME.

Simply super, more more more. Thats a good substitute for a long planing U.S.-Trip
if your going to Spring Valley that means your on the Metro North right?

not necessarily. The train i was on was a NJTransit train. They way it works for the Pascack Valley Line and Port Jervis Line is that they are operated and maintained by NJTransit for MTA Metro North (remember these train lines don't go directly to NYC). Some trains will have metro north designation but some don't. There will be more footage, but I did not go all the way to Spring Valley on this trip.

okay so you're saying the MTA and the NJ transit share the same rail lines and that there are both MTA and NJ Transit trains right? even though i guess this would be because at minute 1:29, you can see a train and if you look closely you can see what looks like the MTA logo

yes metro north owns its trains, collects its fares, but still it is staffed by NJT and operated/maintained by NJT. Why don't you visit the lines?
