N: You & Danielle need to come to the hospital

D: Okay [runs her fingers through her hair] What do you want me to do with Lindsay?
N: My moms on her way
D: Alright [slowly hangs up]
Da: [slowly walks to her] Demi?
D: [staring into space] We need to go to the hospital
Da: [eyes widen]
[Demis POV]
Danielle insisted I wasnt in any shape to drive & even though I argued that, she was right. I was thinking to hard right now because anyone couldve been hurt. Miley. Nick. Joe. Kevin. I just needed to be with Nick, he was the only one I wanted right now.
[Normal POV]
Da: [on the phone with Kevin]
[Danielle & Demi were running through the hospital looking for a familiar face.]
Da: Okay [hangs up] Come on, I know where to go [leads Demi to the right floor]
N: [looking into a room] [clenching both his fists]
D: [spots him] Nick!
N: [turns to Demi] [relieved] [runs to them]
D: Whats going on? [grabs onto his arms]
N: Its Miley
D: Oh no [covers her mouth]
N: No, come with me [takes Demi to the viewing window]
D: C-Cody? I dont get it
N: When Miley ran she ran to the jail, told the guards she needed to see him, went in & shot him.
D: [eyes widen] [in shock] Why?!
N: Pain
D: [eyes fill with tears] Whats gonna happen to Miley?
N: Her lawyer said shell probably need help
D: Help? Like a psychiatrist?!
N: [nods]
D: [crying] Shes not crazy! She didnt do anything [falls down onto the chair]
N: [sits down next to her] [wraps his arms around Demi] Listen, Miley just needs someone to talk to, someone who can make her feel better
D: She couldve talked to us, to me [sobbing into Nicks shoulder]
N: Well now shell have someone who can really help her
[The machines in Codys room started beeping loudly]
Doctor: [rushed into Codys room]
Nurse: [closed the door behind him]
N & D: [stood up] [looking into his room through the window]
J, K, & Da: [standing next to them]
Nurse: [comes over to the window] [closes the blinds]
Da: [sits down]
N: [throws back in his head]
K: Guys, theres no reason to sit here & put ourselves through this. Lets go home
D: [looks at Nick]
N: [nods] Youre right
J: Ill got get the car
K: Well come with you [grabs Danielles hand]
[The three started to walk out]
D: [stood up]
N & D: [staring at Codys room for a final time]
D: Lets go
N: [looks at Demi] [ a little shocked]
Doctor: [comes out of the room] [walks over to the desk] [to the Nurse] Call the jail, tell them Mr. Linleys dead
D & N: [eyes widen]
D: Oh my gosh [covers her mouth]
N: Come on, Dems [starts walking out]
D: [stands there] Nick
N: [turns back around]
D: Yes [nods slowly]
N: [looks at her puzzled] Huh?
D: The answer to your question [walks up to him] Yes, I will marry you
N: [smiles slightly] [leans down]
D: [before he can kiss her] We are gonna have one hell of a story to tell [kisses him]
