Thank you.

One question,
i need to connect 2 pads together with a track ( for example 2 GND ) on the footprint.
the design rule check throws a "short-circuit constratint" to you have any suggestion ?

Excellent tutorial..very clear instructions and good examples...thank you very much..i learned alot this new pcb design tool...I have a request, would you be able to provide an example of the RF design schematic and layout process as well as how to create component library. Thank you..

you are great thanx for the tutorials

Great vid! I had an issue though; I followed the video and everything seems to work out out; but then I create a schematic and then import it into a PCB file for tracing; however once the footpads show up on the PCB, they don't allow me to connect traces to the pins because the wires (netlist?) don't show up on the PCB layout. Do you have an idea what I may be doing wrong?

@elektroniskorg OK, thanks for the video anyway.
Hello, can you please tell me the name of the connector socket which is being designed in this video?

@AhmedHan Don't remember the manufacturer or part number.

Hi, my name's Luca and i'm from Italy.
I'm learning Altium alone since one week, let me know if you can make a tutorial on how to create an SMD footprint that is different from the possibilities that offers the "wizard".
More precisely, i don't know how is possible to create SMD pad...
Thanks, and Sorry for my little english!
Luca

@MioK87 See the dialog box at 2:20? Where it says Multi-Layer, choose instead the layer you want the SMD pad to be on. Top Layer is the default layer for SMD parts.

Good tutorial, I have a question, what diference are between hole size information and size and shape 1:20. there are two different informations about the same hole, what is the difeerence between them?

@coco243 Hole size is the dimension of the drilled hole. "Size and shape" are the dimensions of the copper pad around that hole.
