I used to have that type of setup with my dell inspiron e1505 (now almost 4 years old) and an hp w1907. I now have a desktop that I built hooked up to the hp monitor and an acer x193w. Dual monitors are awesome.

im trying to understand this, i know that dual monitors works with a laptop because it has a built in screen and a vga port. However i don't understand how this would work with a desktop is there a way to order it from the company with two vga ports? maybe you could post a video of your setup please!

i just hooked it up to the VGA port, it was that easy! then if you have vista or 7 then just right click on the desktop go to screen resolution and then choose extend this desktop and it will all be set!
