It's the function, not the size that matters. History have been written with these short, powerfıul composite bows, not the funny, made up modern composites. Even the "legendary" ELB is not more than a bent stick and has only a 300 year military history. Composite bows have been used for more than 4000 years and formed the amazing Asian/Middle Eastern warfare on war charriots and later from on horseback.
