A film of our roving in Istanbul forests. We did some stump shooting, 3-D shooting at our home made "cat target" (supposed to be a fox!) and played with aerial targets. Really had a good time. Three of four bows in action were "tirendaz" bows named after our group meaning "archer" in old Turkish (Please visit www.tirendaz.com). One of them was Grozer's Turkish base. All of us shot instinctively with thumbrings like our ancestors had done.

  • It's the function, not the size that matters. History have been written with these short, powerfıul composite bows, not the funny, made up modern composites. Even the "legendary" ELB is not more than a bent stick and has only a 300 year military history. Composite bows have been used for more than 4000 years and formed the amazing Asian/Middle Eastern warfare on war charriots and later from on horseback.

  • Thanks a lot!..
