  • @yzwme586 I train MMA & let me tell you...Most peeps confuse the flowery movie moves WITH WHAT Bruce wrote. Bruce Lee's Fighting Method Vol. 3 IS the MMA bible. It's all there:Finding your ranges, non chambered straight punches, fencing footwork, angled retreats, center line - striking down the middle, angled retreats. There is a set of youtube videos called: The Bruce Lee Story as Told by you.

In it, MMA fighters talk about Bruce's influence.

Bruce is considered the father of MMA. Bruce>>Silva

  • Looks like a chimpanzee.

  • @Akatsukiitami Everybody knows Bruce Lee did martial arts. I get tired of this rant that "ignorant people think he was just an actor!" I've never met one person who doesn't know Bruce Lee did kung fu. Most people nowadays know he did far more than just kung fu, too.

  • @MyValise Agree with you, ignorant people think bruce was just a kung fu movie actor and nothing more but they dn't know that lee was a legend! They dn't know that Lee after analysation, scientific research, training, philophsy etc.found the truth behind fighting. Its funny what these guys think of him when in fact he criticized kunf fu, karate etc and said that such things do not take into account in the reality of street fighting, not reality based. This vids misinterpreted, A.silva is a fan :)

  • @Xveldin Need a clue? Judoka W...

  • @Xveldin lol

  • @redbulldog Because I want you to find them for yourself, young one.

  • @Xveldin I've read enough to know that he studied judo with both Hayward Nishioka and Gene LeBell.

And that the names of the "wrestlers" and jiu jitsu practitioners (bjj or jjj, doesn't matter) are unknown.

You're the one claiming to know these wrestling/jj names, but then not providing them to us.

    Hmmm...why would that be?

  • @redbulldog Yeah, you haven't read anything on BL.

  • @Xveldin LOL. Okay, then. WHOM?

See without an account from a person...we have no frame of reference.

Dan Inosanto saying "Bruce Lee wrestled well with unnamed wrestlers" matters not one bit.

You need some significant WRESTLER to report that Bruce wrestled well vs. him to matter. Or JJJ. Or whatever.

If Bruce did aikido, then you need some aikidoka to evaluate it. Not some Bruce Lee fan/student. If Bruce did judo, then you need some named judoka involved (Gene LeBell) etc.

  • @redbulldog I have read everything, trust ME. There were wrestlers and JJJ guys who trained with Bruce. You might want to go back and re-read or if you have even read anything about Bruce. It's funny how you accuse me of arguing out of ignorance and haven't read anything when really that is what you are guilty of.
