The truth behind this per his book was these 2 selected Rove without him knowing to do this at the TV and Radio correspondents dinner. He was uncomfortable but played along. His son even programmed this onto his phone as a prank. What people don't know is Karl Rove invited both these guys to the White House the next day with their spouses and President Bush surprised them by inviting them into the Oval Office. One of the wives was so overwhelmed, she cried.
