Kodi the Pudelpointer (Contour Camera)

This is Cedarwood's Kodiak Cub (Kodi). He is a 2 year old Prize I Natural Ability pudelpointer although sometimes I think there may have been some grade inflation.

He is getting ready for his Utility Test in about 3 weeks and we're looking for another good score.

I think his water entry is genetic as his grandfather (Tukr) and Father (Duffy) both have major ups.

Hopefully I will have some more hunt videos to provide this fall.

Was training Kodi a challenge? I'm thinking I want a Pudelpointer but I have NO IDEAL how to train a gundog!

@raesonn This is my first gun dog. I did a lot of training with him (especially obedience as a puppy) but also used a professional trainer to help with the bird work. The dogs themselves have all of the instinct/ability you will need, its just a matter of how much time you have to train them (10-20 min/day is more than enough) .

Not sure where you are hunting but if you are looking for a dog that can do upland and waterfowl, then this is your breed.
