Janina & Brian Come Home

On August 8th, at 3:57pm, Tony Wasilewski greeted his wife Janina on American soil for the first time in 4 and a half years. Janina, and their U.S. citizen son, Brian, had to wait nearly half a decade for the chance to be reunited as a family.

The Wasilewskis with the help of ICIRR, the Polish Initiative of Chicago, and attorney Roy Berg have had to go through hell to fight the broken immigration system: one foreclosure, a heart attack, over $100,000 in travel and legal expenses, and the significant decline of their business.

One family has been reunited. Unfortunately there are many more families being torn apart by our broken immigration system. No American family should go through this alone. You can help.
