Two problems with the "Krypto-Lana" episode: Lana would infect any humans she encounters and turn them into Meteor Freaks just by standing near them for too long (based on the shows history with kryptonite exposure on humans) and Clark would just have to slip some Blue K on to cancel out his Krytonian DNA, hence no reaction to Green K. I'm just saying...

@elderkyle I couldn't figure that out either. It's understandable that the writers had to make a permanent break between the two. I don't believe anything less extreme than Lana becoming the very embodiment of green k could have allowed for Lois's character to slip in. In all reality, though, neither of them would have given up so easily. All it would have taken was a locket (maybe that could be closed, with a lead casing), so that they could be together without her disrupting his destiny.
