Here's the problem. I never heard of Kenna before. And I never knew about this hike to the top of Mt. K. I just found out about this via treehugger via my iphone. This vid has received a mere 14K views. There may have been an MTV showing of this climb but how many actually viewed it? And the topic of access to fresh water has received mega attention from the folks of Charity: Water already! I'm happy for Kenna and I'm happy he accomplished his goal. But as as a successful PR campaign? No.

The Michigan EarthKeepers say Kudos to those bringing attention to the need for clean drinking water around the world.
We in the U.ZS. take clean water for granted and even waste clean water.
I am watching the special Summit on the Summit now on TV on MTV.

you have really motivated me to attempt climbing Kilimanjaro for the fight against meningitis since I am a meningitis survivor, and being from Africa, it means much more because I have lost friends and family members to meningitis.
