What happened was that the ods's were sent to get the information from the archives, the director's boss said something about the A.I. Disappearing by the time there was an attack, Quinn had a really painful experience being trained as a teenager I guess, and he couldn't speak because of the pain the doctors allowed him to live through which dramatized him, Quinn's mission I'm guessing was to either retrieve the remaining data, or to destroy the A.I., the A.I. said it's self that the knowledge
