A compilation of some of the more relaxing piano performances I've uploaded to YouTube. All pieces of music in this collection are played and recorded by myself. I've added in links/starting times (the starting times after the hour mark don't seem to link, I am sorry to say) for each piece in the collection, for those who wish to browse, or jump to a favourite spot. I will try to add links/times to my other compilation videos when time permits. :-)

The pieces in this collection are:

Moment Musicaux #6 (Schubert)
Handel's Largo (transcription) (9:58)
Bethena Waltz (Scott Joplin) (16:14)
Waltz in #15 A Flat (Brahms) (23:46)
Ave Maria (Schubert; transcription) (26:11)
Waltz #2 (Brahms) (28:58)

Intermezzo Op. 119 #2 (Brahms) (46:46)
Romanze (Brahms) (54:36)

Nocturne #16 (Chopin) (1:04:38)
Nocturne #18 (Chopin) (1:10:07)
Prelude #17 (Chopin) (1:16:52)

  • I swear i'm hearing a cat meow at about 1:09:15

  • @EdgarLizardhands

Yes you are; someone also mentions it below..... It's my deaf (and noisy) cat Erasmus who occasionally likes to make auditory guest appearances. Hope it wasn't too distracting..... maybe I should re-record that piece!

  • Believe this music is the best you can listen in pokerstars

  • @PinedoSL

I'm flattered to hear. I also uploaded a Ragtime compendium which you might find good music for the occasion. :-)

  • This really brings me back to my days of classical ballet, many of these songs we practiced to. I miss everything about forgetting my day and just focusing on moving my body to beautiful music. Great music to study to now I'm in college. Thanks!

  • @sarahanne1130

I'm glad to hear that this music brings back fond memories. :-)

It's kind of sad that when we get older (and have to work for a living & all that) that we must often put aside things we enjoyed doing simply because we don't have the time. I have a 9 - 5 (non-musical) job & I still try to put in several hours' practice a day. This means I have to sacrifice a lot of other things (TV, movies, going out), but music is what is important to me. :-)

  • @sarahanne1130 LOL! Me too! I danced for years. This is a great mix for bringing back memories. I can almost smell the wood floors dirty with resins, and see the barre!

  • @mygodiswithin

You are most welcome! It is wonderful to hear from so many people who are putting my music to good use. :-)

  • Ooh love it. Just the perfect background music. I like to have this kind of music on right after meditation, like this one: watch?v=S0_y1BCWpOo . Have a nice day and thanks again.
