Prison abolition is tough, I think it makes sense for the majority. However, after studying certain personality disorders (NPD and APD).... I don't know what can be done with those people. They have a zero percent chance of changing and make life hell for the rest of us. I haven't heard a solution for them.

It's not a smart move to get nicked on demo for breach of bail. It just means those activists will definately not be able to do anything constructive for the next 3 months or however long they end up on remand (in the case of some AR activists in UK there have cases involving people being held on remand for well over a year at a time).

Unconstructive comment. I am sorry.
This was the first time I have heard of anything like a prison abolition movement. So, a bit shocking.
Much can be said about prisons and crimminal justice systems in countries like Australia , and USA.
Some of those things can probably be said about Norwegian prisons and crim sys too. But absolutely not half as much.
And there are still need for a place to house predators etc. Not just the likes of Anders Breivik etc.
