LtCol Brian "Barley" Baldwin pilots the 19FS's
Fini Flight on 21SEPT2010. Senior Airman Michael Cowley,
Broadcaster from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, flew along
to capture video footage and photos.
The route started at JBER, circled around Mount McKinley, over
Mount Redoubt and several other volcanos, and over much of the
Kenai Penensula in Alaska.
This jet, along with many other jets that have already been transferred,
will be reassigned to the 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes Air National
Guard Base in Westfield, Mass. LtCol Gregory Miller, 19FS
Commander, and LtCol Baldwin, 19FS Assistant Director of
Operations, will be flying the jet to Barnes on September 24, 2010.

Amazing. I've always wanted to do this flight. This is the next best thing to riding shotgun. Thanks so much! For the video and everything else you guys do for us.

Wow. Incredibly spectacular scenery. Powerful old jet indeed. Probably some of the most beautiful HD cockpit footage on Youtube, anywhere. Excellent upload.. Not sure if Barnes, Mass can duplicate this flight terrain, but good luck. :) I'm curious if JBER is picking up a replacement sqd at all, or just downsizing?
